Agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement in El Paso have arrested a fast food restaurant manager on charges that he stole someone else's identity to gain employment.
ICE officials said Esteban Santos Gutierrez-Pineda, 36, bought a Social Security card and a resident visa card belonging to another person. He used those documents to get a job at a fast food restaurant in the 9300 block of Dyer.
Officials said Gutierrez-Pineda had been previously deported from the United States in November 2006. He was also arrested and convicted in California in 1997 on a transportation of a controlled substance-heroin charge.
Gutierrez-Pineda now faces charges of fraud and misuse of visas, permits and other documents, and illegal re-entry after deportation. He is scheduled to appear in federal court later today.
This is very disgusting act that the fast food restaurant manager did.
