Man featured on 'America's Most Wanted' arrested by BP agents

TUCSON - A suspect featured on an episode of America's Most Wanted was arrested by Border Patrol agents at the Casa Grande Station yesterday - the man is an illegal immigrant wanted in Des Moines, Iowa for a 2008 vehicular homicide.
Feliciano Diaz, a 25-year-old from Chiapas, Mexico, was arrested by Border Patrol Station agents for being in the United States illegally. The Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System revealed an active warrant for his arrest in Des Moines for a Vehicular Homicide, Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution and other related charges, according to Customs and Border Protection officials.
Diaz was in the August 1, 2009 episode of America's Most Wanted, highlighting a hit and run accident that he was involved in which left a horseback trail guide and his horse dead on September 26, 2008.
Arrangements for extradition of Diaz back to Des Moines for prosecution are being made, CBP officials say.
